Terms of Service Response

So I will be completely honest here, I don’t usually read the Terms of Service for anything in full. I do skim over them usually, but I don’t really pay attention to anything in particular. I wasn’t surprised to learn that almost no one reads the Terms of Service. What did surprise me, however, was going on ToS;DR, and seeing the summaries of big websites’ ToS. I was shocked to see so many had low grades. The prime reasons that I saw were tracking personal data, reading DM’s making changes to their ToS without notifying users, and that some sites even tracked your activity elsewhere on the internet.

I’d say more people should go to ToS;DR, and check the ToS before making an account on any popular site. I would say that websites should at least put a summary of their ToS, but I’m not sure if they are ever going to do so anytime soon.
